Our weekly meetings revolve around the Flow Traders Investment Competition, where we build our portfolio, review strategy, and compete with other B&R Beurs groups. It’s a practical, collaborative way to learn investing.

Do we invest actual money?
Yes. Each group within B&R Beurs is required to use actual money when taking part in the competition. This means that each member will be contributing their own money at the start of the competition. They will of course receive it back at the end (± any gains or losses made throughout the year). Ask one of our members at the recruitment drinks for the exact amount required to invest for the year.
I don’t know much about finance, can I still take part?
We’re designed to help people learn as they go. Our workshops cover the basics, and you’ll get plenty of chances to ask questions and learn from more experienced members.
Is Concordia just about investing?
Not at all. We take investing seriously, but we’re also serious about socials. From drinks to trips, we make sure there’s a strong community aspect so everyone feels welcome and connected. Check out our events page.
What are alumni talks?
A new initiative, our alumni talks feature former members sharing their career paths and industry insights. It’s a great way to get real-world perspectives and connect with our alumni outside of the regular events.
